Amy B. Berg President
S.M. Wilson & Co.The St. Louis construction market is recovering, but at a slower rate than the nation as a whole, says Berg. "Throughout the downturn, we maintained our relationships with existing clients, continuing to achieve more than 75% repeat business," she says. "These partnerships kept us, if not flush with work, at a level in which we could maintain our staff and remain profitable. At the same time, we've seen a need to look for future growth areas, partnerships, acquisitions and increasing the number of repeat clients in each of our market sectors."
