The Chicago office of HOK is designing a new hotel for the Columbus, Ohio, convention center. The project is owned by the Franklin County Convention Facilities Authority.

The new $130-million hotel in downtown Columbus will have 500 rooms and is expected to stand 14 stories high. HOK is both design architect and architect of record. Moody Nolan Inc. is the local architect. The project is slated for completion by late 2012.
