Wilhelm Opens Bloomington Office

Indianapolis-based F.A. Wilhelm Construction Co. Inc. has announced the opening of an office in Bloomington. The location is 8768 N. State Road 37.

Prompting the expansion was the growth of projects in southern Indiana and northern Kentucky. The general-contracting firm has $217 million in construction in the region.

These include Regester Place Apartments and parking, Kirkwood Apartments, Belterra Resort and Casino phase 2, Bloomington Miller Showers Park, the University of Louisville Belknap Research Building and Jasper Memorial Hospital.

Retail Expansion Completed Near Valparaiso University

The 16,000-sq.-ft. expansion of Valparaiso Market Place in Valparaiso was recently completed. The retail center will serve the steadily growing Valparaiso University area.

The main center was completed in mid-2002, and a mix of national and regional retailers were secured for both phases of the project to add to existing anchors Target, Kohl's, Home Depot and Barnes & Noble.

Lake Bluff, Ill.-based Pine Tree Commercial Realty LLC developed the project.
