Team Selected for Market Square Site
Market Square Partners was selected as the development team
for the Market Square Arena site in Indianapolis.
The $140 project will include 400 condominiums, 75,000 sq.
ft. of retail space and a public area. Related work will include
infrastructure upgrades and parking.
The partnership is headed by Michael Comparato, a vice president
with Chicago-based Consoer Townsend Envirodyne Engineers Inc.
Market Square Arena, a former sports and entertainment facility,
was demolished in April 2001.
Clarian Laboratory Has Ground Break
Ground was broken for a $65 million laboratory, Indianapolis-based
Clarian Health Partners announced.
The 320,000-sq.-ft., six-story facility will be on the north
side of the People Mover Canal Station. It will assist Clarian
medical professionals who perform almost 7 million laboratory
tests each year.
Clarian is a partnership among Methodist Hospital, Indiana
University Hospital and Riley Hospital for Children.
A joint venture of Indianapolis-based Wurster Construction
and Columbus, Ohio-based Smoot Construction will build the
facility. Indianapolis-based BSA LifeStructures was the designer.
Completion is expected in the spring of 2006.
