Simon to Build Downtown Office

Indianapolis-based Simon Property Group Inc., a real estate investment trust, has announced plans to build a 12- to 14-story office for its international headquarters.

The location for the building will be the Capitol Commons site in downtown Indianapolis at the southwest corner of Washington and Capitol streets.

Construction of the 300,000-sq.-ft. building is expected to begin in the fourth quarter and be complete in August 2006.

Simon focuses on the ownership, development and management of income-producing properties, primarily malls and shopping centers.
