Streak Continues For the third time in five years, Madison-based McKee Associates
Inc. was named the General Contractor of the Year.
The honor comes from
the Associated General Contractors of Wisconsin.
Subcontractors, suppliers
and service providers evaluated business practices.
Criteria included
bid ethics, contract administration, communication, safety, jobsite supervision
and scheduling.
McKee is a family-owned and -operated construction services
firm specializing in light commercial construction, and retail remodeling. It
was founded in 1963. Waukesha Hospital Gets Patient
Room Redo Patient rooms of Waukesha Memorial Hospital's
Southwest Tower are being renovated for $9 million.
The project also includes
the construction of a 2,400-sq.-ft. penthouse addition, the replacement of two
new air-handling units and the replacement of electrical unit substations.
Construction
is expected to be complete in June 2005. Milwaukee-based CG Schmidt has the contract. |
