Water Mains Extended In Caledonia

Several water main extensions and looping projects are under construction in Caledonia.

Water main extension and looping projects will extend service to existing residences and a planned 300-lot development at Dunkelow Road and County Highway H. The extensions total approximately 4,400 ft. of 20-in. water main.

Water main extensions will provide service to existing residences, a backup water feed and service to a proposed 70-lot development at Four Mile Road.

Water main extensions total approximately 5,500 ft. of 16-in. and 3,500 ft. of 12-in. water main.

Water main extension will total approximately 5,000 ft. of 16-in. and 1,400 ft. of 8-in. water main at State Highway 31 and West Johnson Avenue.
Brookfield-based R.A. Smith & Associates Inc. is providing surveying, design and construction services.

Correction

Some measurements of the Jordan Hall of Science at the University of Notre Dame profiled in the March issue were given in pounds per square inch. Instead, they should have been given in pounds per square foot.

Clarification

Peter Davoren, president of Turner Construction Co., was listed as the CEO/owner/principal of the firm in April's Top Contractors coverage in Midwest Construction.
