The Chicago office of New York-based
Turner Construction Co. has announced the promotions
of John DiCiurcio to executive
vice president from senior vice president; Stephen
Fort to vice president and business manager from manager
of business development; and Jeffrey
Loyall to vice president and operations manager from
operations manager.

J. Patrick "Pat" McGehee
retired from the Buffalo Grove, Ill.-based Essex
Crane Rental Corp. after 47 years of service to the
construction-equipment industry. He will continue to assist
Essex as a consultant.
Essex Crane Rental Corp. supplies cranes for construction
projects.

Chicago-based Loebl Schlossman
& Hackl has announced the promotion of
Pamela Rosenberg to associate principal from senior
interior designer and project manager. Craig
Smith was hired as project director. He was previously
founding principal and president of Chicago-based Griskelis
+ Smith Architects Ltd. David Urschel
has joined the firm's Healthcare Group as architect. He was
previously senior project manager for Chicago-based Eckenhoff
Saunders Architects Inc.

Malcolm "Mac" Moore
was promoted to president from executive vice president of
West Bend, Wis.-based Gehl Co.
He will continue as chief operating officer.
Gehl Co. manufactures equipment that includes dirt, lifting
and paving machinery.

Michael Cullinane, president/
comptroller of Bellwood, Ill.-based Bert
C. Young & Sons Corp., was elected vice president
and assistant treasurer of the Rockville, Md.-based Mechanical
Contractors Association of America Inc. 
Michael Auf der Heide was promoted
to associate of the Evanston, Ill.-based Yas/Fischel
Partnership. He was previously project architect.
The Yas/Fischel Partnership is an architecture, interior design
and urban design firm. 
Tom Leonard was named 2002
Builder of the Year in the Midwest region by the Chicago office
of Providence, R.I.-based Gilbane
Building Co. Leonard, a project manager, won for managing
multiple SBC Communications Inc. projects.

Chicago-based OWP/P has
announced the promotions of Arnis Kakulis
to principal from senior planning manager and Scott
Nelson to principal from senior healthcare planner.
James Maladuckey joined the
firm as principal. He was previously principal of Chicago-based
Perkins & Will.
OWP/P is an architecture firm.
n Tony Pupp was promoted to national accounts manager of
Wausau, Wis.-based Linetec. He was previously Midwest district
sales manager.
Linetec is an architectural, paint and anodize finisher.

Pam McDonough, chief executive
officer of Chicago-based DeAngelo McDonough Construction Management,
has been elected to the board of directors of the Chicago-based
Women's Business Development Center.

Steve Knudson has joined the
Lombard, Ill., office of Minneapolis-based Harmon
Inc. as engineering manager. He was previously manager
of engineering for Chicago-based Republic Windows and Doors
Inc.
Harmon Inc. provides glass services.

Sergio "Satch" Pecori,
president and CEO of Springfield, Ill.-based Hanson Professional
Services Inc., was named chapter honor member for the national
civil engineering society, Chi Epsilon, founded in
1922 at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. The
honor recognizes faculty, community members and graduates
for academic and professional achievements. Pecori earned
bachelor's and master's degrees in engineering from the university.

Greg Kladar was promoted to
vice president of business development for Cherry Valley,
Ill.-based Ringland-Johnson Construction
Co. He was previously manager of the Special Projects
division.
