Elgin, Ill.-based IHC Construction Cos. LLC has announced the promotions of Chuck Polich to vice president and Walt Dwyer, also to vice president. Polich was previously senior project manager/project executive, and Dwyer was previously senior project manager.

IHC Construction Cos. LLC is a general-contracting firm.

Springfield, Ill.-based Hanson Professional Services Inc. has announced Kirk Brown joined to firm as transportation policy advisor and Bill Sunley as senior project manager. Brown was previously secretary of the Illinois Department of Transportation, and Brown was former deputy director of highways, also for IDOT.

Hanson Professional Services Inc. is an engineering firm.

Mark Iammarino was promoted to vice president and director of suburban operations for the Chicago office of New York-based Turner Construction Co. He was previously director of the K-12 Education Group.

Turner Construction Co. is a general contractor.

Steve Kreger was named group manager of the surveying group in Chicago for Dayton, Ohio-based Woolpert LLP. He was previously assistant construction supervisor and head of the Surveying Department for Wheaton, Ill.-based Church Building Architects.

Woolpert LLP is an engineering and architecture firm.

Kate Hauserman was promoted to partner of Chicago-based Vasilko Hauserman and Associates Inc. She was previously senior architect.

Vasilko Hauserman and Associates Inc., which was previously known as VMC Architects Inc., is an architecture firm.

L. Randy Russell was named branch manager of the Ingleside, Ill., store for McAllister Equipment Co., Alsip, Ill. He was previously a previously a sales representative for Patten Tractor and Equipment in Elmhurst, Ill.

McAllister Equipment Co. is a construction-equipment dealership.

Wausau, Wis.-based Major Industries has announced the promotion of Sandy Zarda to vice president from director of operations. Ron Thompson was named director of sales. He was previously regional sales manager for Salt Lake City-based Won-Door.

Major Industries is a manufacturer of skylights and translucent curtain wall.

Itasca, Ill.-based FCL Builders Inc. has announced the promotions of Darren Lackey to project manager and Derek Speer, also to project manager. Both were previously assistant project managers.

FCL Builders Inc. is a design/build contractor.

Tracey Knieper was promoted to assistant project manager for Milwaukee-based C.G. Schmidt. She was previously project engineer.

C.G. Schmidt provides planning, design and commercial construction services.

Gene Ingalls was named plant manager in the Westfield, Ind., facility for Fabcon Inc., Savage, Minn. He was previously plant manager for Amarillo, Texas-based Southwest Prestressed Co.

Fabcon Inc. produces and installs precast panels.

Madison, Wis.-based Mead & Hunt has announced Christopher Nies has joined the firm as transportation engineer; Shannon Dolan as historic preservation specialist; Victoria Redstone, also as historic preservation specialist; Anniina Walsh as administration assistant; and Annette Dolejsi as contract and collections coordinator.

Mead & Hunt is an engineering and architectural consulting firm.

Thomas Brauer was named principal of Chicago-based 42/40 Architecture Inc. He was previously principal of Chicago-based Urban Design Group Inc.

42/40 Architecture Inc. is a design firm.

Michael Flanagan was named vice president and manager of the new Indianapolis office for Grand Rapids, Mich.-based Superior Environmental Corp.

Superior Environmental Corp. provides consulting and engineering services.
