Hunt Construction Group
of Indianapolis has announced five promotions: Mike
Fratianni to executive vice president/division manager
of Midwest operations from contract manager; Bob
Decker to executive vice president from vice president;
Ken Johnson to vice president
from contract manager; Bill Palmer
to vice president of business development from director of
business development; and Matt Barnes
to contract manager from construction manager. Hunt Construction
Group is a construction management and general contracting
firm.

Brian Rener was named vice president and chief electrical
engineer of the mechanical/electrical/plumbing unit of Chicago-based
A. Epstein and Sons International Inc. He was previously electrical
supervisor and project manager of Evanston, Ill.-based Grumman/Butkus
Associates. A. Epstein and Sons International Inc. is an architecture,
engineering and construction firm.

Leopardo Cos. Inc. of Hoffman Estates, Ill., has announced
James Leopardo was promoted to CEO and Richard Mattioda to
president. Leopardo was previously president, and Mattioda
was previously executive vice president. Leopardo Cos. Inc.
provides construction services.

Dietrich Knoer was named senior vice president and chief
investment officer of Chicago-based Higgins Development Partners.
He was previously a principal at JP Morgan Partners. Higgins
Development Partners is a development firm.

Lohan Caprile Goettsch Architects of Chicago has announced
the promotions of James Zheng to associate principal from
senior associate; Joseph Cliggott, Aaron Greven and Ming-Chih
Lai to senior associate from associate; and Scott Seyer to
associate. Lohan Caprile Goettsch Architects is a design firm.

Harmon Inc. of Golden Valley, Minn., has announced Tom Pichman
was promoted to national superintendent from general manager
and will continue to be based in Chicago. Jim Mroz was promoted
to regional vice president from general manager of the South
Bend, Ind., location. Harmon Inc. provides glass services.

William Trumball was named vice president of the Rosemont,
Ill.-based McShane Cos. He was previously deputy commissioner
of Chicago's Department of Planning and Development. McShane
Cos. provides development and design-build services.

Philip Johnsson was named project architect of Chicago-based
Loebl Schlossman & Hackl. He was previously an architect
with Chicago-based Cannon Design. Loebl Schlossman & Hackl
is a design firm.

Victoria Kim was named director in Chicago of New York-based
Ted Moudis Associates. She was previously senior associate
in Chicago for New York-based GVA Williams Corporate Services
Group. Ted Moudis Associates is an architecture and interior
design firm.

Kahler Slater of Milwaukee has announced Jude Wessels was
named planner and designer and Cathleen Feland architect and
interior designer, the latter in the Madison, Wis., office.
Wessels was previously a health care planner and designer
for Philadelphia-based Vitetta, and Feland was previously
architect and interior designer with Bismarck, N.D.-based
Jiran Architects & Planners PC. Kahler Slater is an architecture
firm.

Michael Berg was promoted to vice president for architecture
and structures of Eau Claire, Wis.-based Ayres Associates.
He was previously manager of building structures. Ayres Associates
is an architectural and engineering consulting firm.

Robert Pavlock was named director of sales of the Fabrication
Division of Fond du Lac, Wis.-based J.F. Ahern Co. He was
previously regional sales manager of Houston-based Pipe Supports
USA. J.F. Ahern Co. is a mechanical and fire protection contractor.

Steve Lane was named project manager for Rosemont, Ill.-based
Opus North Corp. He was previously a project manager with
Palatine, Ill.-based Kajima Construction.
Opus North Corp. is a design-build firm.

Craig Coursin, vice president and project principal with
Milwaukee-based CG Schmidt Inc., a general contracting firm,
received the Partner Award from Partners for Education Inc.,
an organization that helps support education partnerships
between schools and businesses in Waukesha County. The award
recognizes him for his help in initiating and raising funds
for the Pewaukee (Wis.) High School robotics program.

Tom Mortensen was named a landscape designer for Brookfield,
Wis.-National Survey & Engineering. He previously owned
a company, Landgraphics. National Survey & Engineering
is a engineering, planning, surveying and technical services
consultant.

Matt Reid was promoted to vice president of development in
the Naperville, Ill., office of Minneapolis-based Ryan Cos.
He was previously a division manager. Ryan Cos. is a design-build
firm.

The International Construction
and Utility Equipment Exposition of Louisville, Ky.,
has announced three Midwesterners will serve on the show's
management committee:
Chris Brahler, president and
CEO of Aurora, Ill.-based TT Technologies Inc.; Bob
Brock, vice president of national sales and marketing
of Moline, Ill.-based Deere & Co.; and Robin
Killian, vice president of sales and marketing of Racine,
