J.P. Cullen & Sons Inc., of Janesville, Wis., has announced Mark Cullen, was named chairman of the board. He was previously president and CEO, and David Cullen assumes those positions. He was previously vice president of business development. J.P. Cullen & Sons Inc. is a general contractor.

Susan Pratt was named associate principal of Chicago-based Lohan Caprile Goettsch Architects Inc. She was previously vice president/associate principal architect of Chicago-based Murphy/Jahn. Lohan Caprile Goettsch is an architecture firm.

Graycor Industrial Constructors Inc., of Homewood, Ill., has announced the promotion of Shawn Anderton to senior estimator from estimator; Tom Baskind, also to senior estimator from estimator; Bob Feckler to senior project manager from project manager; Gaylord "Rusty" Ward to senior estimator from project manager; and Greg Bond to project manager from senior estimator. Graycor Industrial Constructors provides construction, maintenance and facilities services.

Kathy McCauley, vice president and chief financial officer of Bridgeview, Ill.-based McCauley Mechanical Construction Inc., was elected the first woman president of the Mechanical Contractors Association of Chicago.

Richard Kooy was named vice president of business development for Chicago-based A. Epstein and Sons International Inc. He was previously director of corporate marketing for Netherlands-based Chicago Bridge & Iron Co. N.V. A. Epstein and Sons International Inc. is an architecture firm.

Richard Bliss was named an associate and design director of Chicago-based Solomon Cordwell Buenz & Associates Inc. He was previously an employee with OWP&P in Chicago. Solomon Cordwell Buenz & Associates is an architecture and urban planning firm.

Edward Kraemer & Sons Inc. of Plain, Wis., has announced Jean Bergman was promoted to vice president and assistant chief financial officer and Mike Huffar to information technology director. Bergman was previously controller, and Huffar was previously information technology manager. Edward Kraemer & Sons is a general contractor and aggregates supplier..

Greg Morelli was named project executive in the 1source division of Milwaukee-based CG Schmidt Inc. He was previously an employee in Milwaukee of M.A. Mortenson Co. CG Schmidt Inc. is a general contractor.

Gary Betts, principal of Chicago-based architecture firm Loebl Schlossman & Hackl, has begun his term as the national president of the Construction Specifications Institute in Alexandria, Va.

Robert Frentzel was promoted to group senior vice president of the Commercial Lending division, including construction and engineering banking, of Chicago-based LaSalle Bank. He was previously senior vice president. LaSalle Bank is a financial institution.

Gary Kautzer has joined Milwaukee-based Irgens Development Partners LLC as vice president-development. He was previously executive vice president of Brookfield, Wis.-based McCloud Construction. Irgens is a development firm.

R.A. Smith & Associates Inc. of Brookfield, Wis., has announced the promotion of Melissa Case to controller from senior accountant. Tracy Farrand was promoted to senior project manager of the firm's National Survey & Engineering division. She was previously project manager. R.A. Smith & Associates provides civil engineering, planning and other technical services.

Krusinski Construction Co. of Oak Brook, Ill., has announced Shawn Barry was named senior project superintendent and Stephen Moeller project manager. Barry was previously project superintendent with Palatine, Ill.-based Kajima Construction, and Moeller was previously a project manager, also with Kajima. Krusinski Construction Co. provides construction services.

McShane Construction Corp. in Rosemont, Ill., has announced Jason Breden was promoted to project manager and Mathew Dougherty also to project manager. Both were previously project engineers II. McShane Construction Corp. provides design-build services.

Kiferbaum Construction Corp. of Deerfield, Ill., has announced David Samm was named project engineer I and Maura Riordan project manager. Samm was previously project engineer I in Cincinnati for Indianapolis-based Hunt Construction Group, and Riordan was previously project manager with Rosemont, Ill.-based Opus North Corp. Also, Julie Hardesty was named project manager and Bob Papineau project engineer II. Hardesty was previously project engineer for Turner Construction Co. in Chicago, and Papineau was previously an assistant project manager for Chicago-based McClier Corp. Floyd Mason was named district manager in Indiana of Honeoye, N.Y.-based Stone Construction Equipment Inc. He was previously an employee of Charlotte, N.C.-based Sunbelt Rentals. Stone Construction Equipment Inc. designs and manufactures construction equipment.


J.F. Ahern Co. of Fond du Lac, Wis., purchased the assets of North Central Piping Inc. a fire protection contractor in Neenah, Wis.

ABC Supply Co. Inc. of Beloit, Wis., has acquired Mansion Supply Company Inc. of Paulsboro, N.J. ABC Supply Co. Inc. is a wholesale distributor of roofing.
