Scott Sarver was promoted to president of Chicago-based DeStefano and Partners. He was previously design principal. DeStefano provides architectural and interior design services.

James Prendergast was named a principal of Chicago-based Lohan Caprile Goettsch Architects. He was previously president and principal of Chicago-based Perkins + Will. Lohan is a design firm.

John O'Neill was named senior vice president and co-director of the civil engineering unit of Chicago-based A. Epstein and Sons International Inc.
He was previously group leader, project manager and resident engineer for CH2M Hill in Chicago. A. Epstein and Sons is an architecture, engineering and construction firm.

GPD/Gilbane of Milwaukee has announced Terry Koth was named project executive and Edmund "Butch" Demuth Jr. general superintendent. Koth was previously project executive with Milwaukee-based CG Schmidt Inc., and Demuth was previously a superintendent with M.A. Mortenson Co. in Minneapolis. GPD/Gilbane is a construction manager.

William Hite was named interim general president of the United Association of Plumbers, Pipe Fitters, Sprinkler Fitters and Service Technicians in Bloomington, Ill. He is a member of Local Union 597 Pipe Fitters Association in Chicago.

Bruce Worthington was named project principal in the Chicago office of Burlington, Iowa-based Stanley Consultants Inc. He was previously chief highway engineer/deputy commissioner of the Bureau of Highways of the Chicago Department of Transportation. Stanley provides engineering, environmental and construction services.

Kem Davis was named product line manager of Franklin Park-based Sloan Valve Co. She was previously vice president of sales for T&S Brass and Bronze Works Inc. Sloan manufactures plumbing products.

James Wilkinson was named project superintendent of Oak Brook-based Krusinski Construction Co. He was previously a project superintendent with Itasca Construction. Krusinski is a general contractor.

Tim Just, vice president of operations with Milwaukee-based CG Schmidt Inc., was appointed to serve a three-year term as an employer member of the Wisconsin State Masonry Apprenticeship Advisory Committee in Madison. It provides leadership to the construction industry on issues affecting apprenticeship.

Kevin Kerschbaum was named project manager in the Healthcare Practice Group of Milwaukee-based Hammel, Green and Abrahamson Inc. He was previously vice president of Ann Arbor, Mich.-based Hobbs + Black. HGA is an architecture and engineering firm.

V3 Cos. of Woodridge, Ill., has announced Tom Valaitis was named senior project manager of the firm's infrastructure division and Michelle Ross project manager/senior ecologist in its consulting division. Valaitis was previously bureau chief of construction in District 1 of the Illinois Department of Transportation in Schaumburg, and Ross was previously an environmental scientist with Volo-based Hey & Associates. V3 is a consulting firm.

Bill Erwin was promoted to vice president of operations for Buffalo Grove-based Essex Crane Rental Corp.He was previously senior vice president of Florida Region for Orlando-based Maxim Crane. Essex Crane Rental Corp. is an equipment supplier.

Chris Warren, safety director of Green Bay-based Tweet/Garot Mechanical Inc. has received the Volunteer of the Year Award from the Appleton-based Mechanical Contractors Association of North Central Wisconsin. The award was given because of Warren's help in developing the MCA's substance abuse testing program and safety program.

National Survey & Engineering of Brookfield, Wis., has announced William Nix was promoted to survey project manager from project surveyor Christopher Hitch was promoted to project manager from project coordinator. Charles Stassi was named landscape architect. He was previously a project manager and landscape architect with Milwaukee Lawn Sprinkler Corp. in Menomonee Falls. National Survey & Engineering is a civil engineering, surveying and technical services consultant.

Mike Hart, president of Elmhurst-based Harts Tractor Co. Inc.,
was named president of the North Aurora-based Illinois Equipment Distributors.

H.W. Lochner Inc. of Chicago was named one of the Top 100 Private Sector Transportation Design and Construction Professional of the 20th Century by the American Road and Transportation Builders Association of Washington, D.C.

Construction Peer Group Corp.of Bloomingdale has announced an agreement with the American Subcontractors Association in Alexandria, Va., to provide an education program.

The Associated General Contractors of Greater Milwaukee has joined the Southeast Wisconsin Homeland Security Partnership.
