to president and chief operation officer and Richard Blum
to executive vice president and principal. Cavenaugh was previously executive
vice president, and Blum was previously senior vice president. Fifield is a developer.

M.A. Mortenson Co. He was previously division president of Downers Grove-based
Wight Construction Services Inc. Mortenson is a general contractor. 
Ratio Architects Inc. of Indianapolis has announced Rob
Proctor was promoted to principal and David Kroll
to associate principal. Proctor was previously associate principal, and Kroll
was previously senior associate. Ratio is a design firm. 
Brian Umbright, vice president of Chicago-based
engineering firm Bowman, Barrett & Associates Inc.,
has received the 2005 Civil and Environmental Engineering Alumni Association's
Young Civil Engineer Achievement Award from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
The honor recognizes a graduate who has attained an unusual amount of success
by the age of 35.

Chung and Christopher Guido were promoted
to associate. Each was previously an architectural designer. Booth Hansen is an

Earles, was named director of public engagement with the
College of Engineering at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and
will act as a liaison for the Education Initiative, an affirmative action program
the Mc4West LLC team has implemented. Mc4West is the joint venture constructing
the West Building of the McCormick Place Convention Center. She was previously
vice president of communications for the Chicago-based The Woodlawn Organization.

Gilfillan Callahan Architects. She was previously vice president of business

Associated Builders and Contractors Craft Professional of the Year competition.

Hardt was named manager of business development and Robert
Hale project manager/estimator and senior mechanical engineering technician.
