Jim Blanusha was named senior vice president of Chicago-based Collins Engineers Inc. He was previously senior vice president of CTE/Aecom in Chicago. Collins is a civil and structural engineering firm.

Kozeny-Wagner Inc. of Arnold, Mo., has announced Vince Zagarri was named vice president of the newly creation Communications Division. He was previously vice president of business development of NetLabs LLC in St. Louis. Ken Engelmeyer was named senior estimator. He was previously project estimator Chic Lumber & Hardware in St. Peters, Mo. Kozeny-Wagner is a general contractor.

Keith Dafcik was named senior vice president of Rosemont-based McShane Construction Corp. He was previously executive vice president of TCB Design-Build
in Tinley Park. McShane provides design-build services.

Jennifer Knapp was named senior medical planner in Chicago of Detroit-based Harley Ellis Devereaux. She was previously design director of health care interiors of Chicago-based OWP/P. Harley Ellis is a design, engineering and construction firm.

Mary Evers Statz was named senior interior designers of Milwaukee-based
Eppstein Uhen Architects Inc. She was previously manager of facility planning and design of CUNA Mutual in Madison. Eppstein Uhen is a design firm.

James Mundy was named project manager of St. Louis-based Clayco. He was previously business unit manager in St. Louis for Holland Construction Services. Clayco is a development, design and construction firm.

Steve Skwiat was name project superintendent of Westmont-based
Morgan/Harbour Construction. He was previously project superintendent of GF Structures in Chicago. Morgan/Harbour is a design-build and general contracting firm.

Douglas Forton was named project team leader of Milwaukee-based
Bray Associates Architects Inc
. He was previously architectural associate of Rolling Meadows-based Gilfillan Callahan Architects. Bray is a design firm.

Dayne Anderson was named project engineer of Skokie-based The Missner Group. He was previously a project engineer with Palos Hills-based Skender Construction Co. Missner provides development and construction services.

PROMOTIONS

A. Epstein and Sons International Inc. of Chicago has announced five promotions, Andrew Metter to senior vice president and director of design, including for the firm's annex/5 studio, from vice president and senior design principal; Christine Paccione-Anderson to senior vice president and director of human resources from vice president and director of human resources; Teresa Walsh to vice president from senior project manager; Rael Slutsky to vice president from designer; and
David Scott to vice president from senior project manager. A. Epstein offers architecture, engineering and construction services.

VOA Associates of Chicago has announced 20 promotions, including Michael Baranowski, Don Dorsch and Doug King to principal from senior vice president.
Ten were promoted to senior vice president from vice president: Rick Basten,
Brenda Bush-Moline, Marina Fromm, Chris Knight, Janet Kreig, Mark Levender,
Don Ricker, Rika Semba-Dike, Ann Volz and Robert Wilson.
Seven were promoted
to vice president from associate: David Archer, Jeffery Hrubec, Young In,
Anne Peterson, Robert Mungia, Sarah Wortman and James Wright.

Byrne & Jones Construction Co. of St. Louis has announced Brian Goggins was promoted to president. He was previously chief operating officer. Mike Kappel was named the Illinois division manager. He was previously project manager. Byrne & Jones provides asphalt paving services.

Richard Bacino was named vice president in St. Louis of Grand Island, N.Y.-based Cannon Design. He was previously associate architect. Cannon is an architecture firm.

M.A. Mortenson Co. of Minneapolis has announced the promotions in Milwaukee of Matt Goebel and Joe Krueger to project manager, Dustin Loy to superintendent and Chad Norris to assistant superintendent. Goebel and Krueger were previously assistant project managers, Loy was previously assistant superintendent and Norris was previously project engineer. Mortenson is a general contractor.

CG Schmidt of Milwaukee has announced Shelley Anderson was named benefits
and staffing coordinator and Kern Dodds was named desktop & network support specialist. Anderson was previously human resources executive assistant, and Dodds was previously desktop support specialist. Schmidt is a general contractor.

Venita Davis was named architectural sales representative/interiors consultant of St. Louis-based NMI Associates, a division of Negwer Materials Inc. She was previously customer service representative. NMI supplies materials to architects, interior designers and owners.

HONORS & APPOINTMENTS

Clark Construction Group LLC of Bethesda, Md., has received the 2006 Honor Award from the National Building Museum in Washington, D.C. The firm was honored for its work and for its commitment to community service.

Tri-North Builders of Madison, Wis., has announced Tim Bogenschneider
and Holly Schweitzer were named LEED Accredited Professionals.
They are project managers. Tri-North is a general contractor.
