Mark Fischer was named associate principal and director of interior design of Chicago-based Lohan Anderson . He was previously executive vice president and director of Chicago-based Interior Space International Inc. Lohan Anderson is a design firm.

Vojo Narancic was named principal in Chicago of Grand Island, N.Y.-based Cannon Design . He was previously head of design/vice president of Waukegan, Ill.-based Legat Architects. Cannon is a design firm.

Irgens Development Partners LLC of Milwaukee has named Jason Luther development director and Kristy Klug senior marketing coordinator. HONORS AND APPOINTMENTS

Clyde Baker Jr. , senior vice president and senior principal of Vernon Hills, Ill.-based STS Consultants , is the recipient of the 2006 Award of Honor from the Chicago Building Congress. Baker has served the firm for 50-plus years and has served as geotechnical engineer or consultant on seven of the 16 tallest buildings in the world.

Anthony Thompson , president of St. Louis-based Kwame Building Group , was named to sit on the Missouri Coordinating Board of Higher Education. Kwame provides program and construction management services.

James Shilling , a professor in the Department of Finance at DePaul University in Chicago, was appointed the Michael J. Horne Chair in Real Estate Studies . The research and teaching position is funded by a $4 million endowment underwritten by the Michael J. Horne Education & Healthcare Assistance Foundation of Los Angeles.
