Patrick Cavanaugh was named senior estimator of Elgin-based IHC Construction Cos. LLC. He was previously project manager with Osman Construction Corp. in Arlington Heights. IHC provides contracting services.

Michael Platt was named senior associate in Chicago of Arlington, Va.-based Perkins Eastman. He was previously associate and senior designer with RTKL Associates in Chicago and Dallas. Perkins Eastman is an architecture firm.

Krusinski Construction Co. of Oak Brook has announced Paul Donovan and Kevin Reynolds were named project superintendents. Donovan was previously project superintendent for Flex Construction in Lake Zurich, and Reynolds was previously a superintendent and project manager with Gallagher and Henry in Countryside. Krusinski is a design-build contractor.

Carmen Yung was named project manager in the Environmental Assessment and Redevelopment Services Group of Woodridge-based V3 Cos. She was previously employee of MACTEC Engineering and Consulting Inc. in Oak Brook. V3 provides development, infrastructure and other services.

Melanie Bassett was named Midwest regional director of the of the American Road & Transportation Builders Association and will be based in St. Louis. She was previously Midwest regional political manager of the Associated Builders and Contractors.

Gilbane Building Co. of Providence, R.I., has announced the additions in Milwaukee of Ryan McDonald as named assistant project engineer and Andrew Wasserman as superintendent intern. McDonald was previously a construction coordinator with Milwaukee-based Plunkett Raysich Architects LLC, and Wasserman was previously a student. Gilbane is a contractor.
