    Chicago Construction Outlook 2009
    With both the public and private sectors struggling, Chicago’s construction market will follow the 2007’s 9% decline with a similar drop this year. In 2009, the weaker economic environment will force starts to decline by a more pronounced 25% to $13.7 billion.
